Domodedovo presented a long-term plan for the development of Moscow Aerotropolis
On February 28, 2020, Domodedovo airport held a business forum «Moscow Aerotropolis – the territory of your business development», which took place at the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Marina Bukalova, Marketing Director of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, presented the general concept of a unique project for Russia and Alexey Labzin, Deputy Director for the Development of Moscow Aerotropolis, introduced the participants to the detailed plan for the development of the industrial cluster.

Moscow Aerotropolis is an urban entity based on the commercial development of lands around one of the largest airports in Russia and Eastern Europe. The proximity to Domodedovo airport provides the project participants with significant advantages in a competitive market. The unique project has the main characteristics that determined the success of the idea in other countries: developed multimodal logistic infrastructure, the availability of free territory for the implementation of large-scale projects, convenient transport accessibility to the largest financial and economic center.
The development of Moscow Aerotropolis is planned in accordance with the cluster concept. As part of the first phase of the project, five clusters will be built on the area of about 1,000 hectares by 2026: Airport City, Business Park, Trade and Recreation, Expo and Industrial cluster.

The long-term plan for the development of Moscow Aerotropolis has been produced until 2062 and provides the development of 6,500 hectares. The proposed financial and legal scheme of interaction with partners is based on long-term lease of land plots.
At the business forum Domodedovo presented the project for the development of the industrial cluster. It will be based on the creation of a unique Pestovo park, which provides a complex of production, warehouse, and administrative facilities that fully meet modern requirements in this market segment. The total investment in the Industrial Park Pestovo will amount to 40-50 billion rubles.

The representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Head of the Domodedovo City District Alexander Dvoikhnykh, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government Vadim Khromov took part at the forum.
