Holiday Inn Hotel to open near Domodedovo airport as part of a deal signed at the SPIEF
June 7, 2019, St. Petersburg. An agreement on the construction of the Holiday Inn hotel was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. It was signed by Mikhail An, Minister of Investments and Innovations of the Moscow Region, Igor Borisov, Director of the Moscow Domodedovo Airport, and Yuliya Lukyanchuk, a representative of MC Sobor investment and construction company.

Investments in the project will amount to RUB 900 million. The hotel will have 148 rooms.
The project is being implemented as part of Moscow Aerotropolis, a new urban entity based on the commercial development of land around the airport. Within a radius of 20 km around the air hub, a new urban development formation will appear, in which objects will be divided into clusters according to areas of activity: trade, hotel and recreational, business park, expo cluster, industrial cluster, and agricultural cluster.

Holiday Inn will become part of a 20-hectare multifunctional complex, including a shopping center, parking lots and roadside service facilities. The hotel with a capacity of 148 rooms will be operated by the international operator InterContinental Hotels Group.

The investor is Sobor Management Company. The project budget is estimated to be worth 900 million rubles. The project is scheduled to be implemented in Q4 2020. The distance to the airport is 8 km.
